DigiGood LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates TheFamilyGrid. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and - most importantly -  what we do not collect.

1. What We Do Not Collect  TheFamilyGrid is a locally installed desktop application. All family data you enter into the Software — including names, events, schedules, and budget information — is stored exclusively on your own computer in a local database file. This data is never transmitted to DigiGood LLC or any third-party server. We have no access to your family's information.

2. What We Do Collect  When you purchase TheFamilyGridthrough our payment processor LemonSqueezy, the following information is collected solely for the purpose of completing your purchase and delivering your license:

• Your email address
• Your license key (generated at purchase)
• Basic transaction information (purchase date, amount)

This information is handled by LemonSqueezy as our payment processor and merchant of record. You can review LemonSqueezy's privacy practices at lemonsqueezy.com.

3. How We Use Your Information  We use your email address to deliver your license key and download link, send you update notifications for TheFamilyGrid, and respond to support requests you initiate. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. License Validation  TheFamilyGrid performs periodic license validation against the LemonSqueezy API to confirm your license remains active. This check transmits only your license key — no personal or family data is included.

5. Cookies and Tracking  Our website (getfamilygrid.com) may use standard web analytics to understand visitor traffic. No personally identifiable information is collected through website analytics.

6. Children's Privacy  TheFamilyGrid is designed for use by adults managing household schedules. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy  We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Claude Anthropic API Key: You may optionally decide to create and use a Claude Anthropic Key in the product to benefit from the AI feature for creating appointments from email text, etc...  DigiGood provides this as an avenue to support your experience, but we do not receive any benefit in return for you using Claude Anthropic.   Additionally, you agree that by obtaining and using an API key, you indemnify DigiGood against all claims arising from such use.
